Building a Support System:

A personal support system can be one of the most important things in your life.  Family, friends and acquaintances can all be a part of this network.

Finding a church to belong to is an important step in this process.  The Society of St. Vincent de Paul would like to encourage you to take this step.  By actively participating in a church you will grow and develop two connections:

1. Relationship with God

Your relationship with God will give you strength and hope to make it through many of life’s challenges.  The power of prayer is immeasurable.

2.    Relationships with Friends and Mentors.

Relationships with others who are struggling through their own issues or have stuggled in the past will be one of the most satifying experiences in life.
